Our Crazy Goats

May 26, 2017

We were watching funny goat videos on Youtube, and decided that since our goats make funny noises, we should put one up too. Our goats had a different idea.

Goat babies update

May 16, 2017

The goat babies are doing just fine.  We have a male, named Gizmo (stripe on face), and a female called Bella (white face). They’re spunky little things. They’ve already begun to get into a little mischief and needed rescued by Mr. Dragon.

This is Gizmo.  Isn’t he cute?

Just A Quickie

May 1, 2017

I’m popping in to post and let you know I’m still alive after last week’s tornado, and today’s weather as well.  I’ll leave you with a few pictures from the farm/house…

Winston jousted with an ear of corn. It ended with the corn breaking off between his horns. lol  Don’t worry, I got it out for him, but first I snapped a picture.

We put up the hutch that I painted, and put the mirror above the buffet.
A cake my grandson gave me for my birthday.  Yes, he’s a sweetie.

Walking on my Farm

April 11, 2017

I took my camera with me on my walk today, and I even shot a video of Winston being an ass.

Whoever romanticized Spring being in the air is a dumbass. Here on the farm we have the turkeys fighting each other, the roosters fighting each other, the goats fighting the guineas and us (Well,Winston that is), and the guineas fighting everyone else. It’s like the friggin WWE over here…or whatever the hell they call it. We had separated the roosters, due to fighting, and then one escaped. I spent quite a while chasing his ass up and down the barnyard (with Winston stalking me the entire time). I finally cornered him in the original coop and grabbed him, with some assist from Mr. Crow and Spaulding the goat. Next time he gets out, we’re having chicken dinner.
