The Walking Dead-Tonight’s Episode

November 28, 2010

I was sooo irritated with tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead! First, they spent a good 15 minutes or so dealing with that lady hovering over her dead sister. Then, after being bored to tears with that, we got to watch her slowly drag her sister’s corpse to the grave and then just as slowly drag her into it. Come on! Was it a slow writing day at the ol’ zombie factory or something? Unfortunately, things got even worse when some of the characters are making their “protective sweep” through the woods and one of them purposely points his gun at another team member and debates on whether to kill him, ALL OF THIS caught by another team member, who says nothing…not one word to the man in danger. Not very realistic. At least not in my book. I could go on and on, but I’ll leave it there. So in a nutshell, I’m either way too picky or tonight’s episode borderline sucked.

  1. Ok…this review makes me feel better. I actually watched some of this show for the first time. And I was like “WTF” is all the hoopla about? I was bored to tears myself…kept switching channels and all.

So I’ll give it another chance next week.

  2. Man Dazd, you should have watched it last week. Although it had ANOTHER boring part with the sisters (at the beginning) the end middle and end was fantastic. I really like this series (only 1 episode left), but I think they need to smooth it out a bit.

Now, on the other hand Dexter was very exciting this week, did you see it? Do you follow that series?

  3. You’re too picky. πŸ™‚

I get your points, and they’re valid. I didn’t have as much of a problem with this week as you, but I’m very forgiving.

  4. I swear, towards the end of the first fifteen minutes I was just hoping she’d wake up and bite her to get the scene over with.
The last few scenes, near the CDC were awesome! The zombies lying everywhere made me all tense that one of them was going to get bitten stepping over them.

I’m all hopeful about the season finale though. I hope the Shane character bites the dust, and Morgan and his son find them at the CDC.

  5. I think the guy at the CDC is a whack job and he’s going to intentionally infect someone so he can have some fresh samples.

  6. I have to admit that the best part was at the CDC, but I’m also pretty forgiving when it comes to my favorites. If this show is not cancelled next season, like really interesting shows can be, it will become my most favorite. I would much rather see Sarah kick zombie ass, but until then I’m stuck with The Walking Dead.

  7. πŸ™‚ Ahhhh…can you imagine, the season after next being called The Walking Dead: Diary of Sarah McClure? Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
