School stuff

October 12, 2010

It’s the middle of the semester and things are getting hectic. In one of my classes we’re focusing on the 14th Amendment and due process. Although I thought I knew about the 14th Amendment and due process, from previous classes, what I knew was only the tip of the iceberg. It’s been fascinating. The same thing happened when we studied the 4th Amendment, what I thought I knew was only one small part, basically I was reciting something but I had no idea what the deeper meaning was. Now every time I read a news article about appeals, or cases before the Supreme Court, I sit there analyzing it and try to figure out the outcome. AND all of the passion I have for this subject is going to come in handy for our next class, we’re doing a hand written essay (he wants to see around 7 pages worth). I see it as a challenge and I, nervously, await it. 🙂
